CoeFont AI Voice Platform has released an updated voice model. The voice hub, which creates the most realistic Japanese AI voices in the world and provides multilingual digital voices in various languages, including English, Chinese, French, and Spanish, is now able to produce professional quality English and Japanese voice replications with 10 minutes of voice recording.
CoeFont’s VP of Engineering, Shunsuke Shoji commented
“It was important for us not to produce a faster model at the expense of quality. With our new model, we deliver both higher quality voices with a much shorter recording process. Our aim is to provide CoeFont members with the freedom to have fun and get creative with voices. Our other reason for speeding up the process was for our Voice For All projects. We offer free voice replication to individuals who are losing their voices due to illness. Reading out sentences can be quite grueling for some of them, so we wanted to make the process as easy as possible.”
Until recently, people at risk of losing their voices due to illness had limited options for creating a voice replica. However, CoeFont’s Voice For All project changed that; It enabled individuals to create high-quality AI voices for free, providing them with a voice that could reflect their personality and identity. By reading around 3,000 sentences and waiting for up to three weeks, users could acquire a professional-quality voice that was equivalent to that of a voice recorded in a physical studio. Now, with the new model, the previous 3,000 sentences have been cut down to just 50.
