CoeFont Introduces Life Support Plan at “Voice and Words Exchange Meeting,” a Gathering for Individuals Struggling with Speech

CoeFont, a provider of AI voice platform “CoeFont,” has been offering a free “Life Support Plan” since May 2023 to individuals who struggle with speaking in public due to stuttering, selective mutism, or illnesses that result in loss of voice. As part of this initiative, CoeFont participated in a “Voice and Words Exchange Meeting” held on November 19, 2023, an event for individuals with stuttering and selective mutism to share their experiences. The company was invited by Shuuta Tomuri, an associate professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Keio University School of Medicine, who has been cooperating and supervising the service provision for individuals with speech difficulties.

Background:Since September 2021, CoeFont has been providing free services to individuals who have lost their voices due to illnesses. In May 2023, to provide optimal services to individuals with speech difficulties, CoeFont has been cooperating with Shuuta Tomuri, an associate professor at the Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Keio University School of Medicine, to supervise the service provision. As of November 2023, over 500 individuals are using CoeFont as part of their daily lives.

At the “Voice and Words Exchange Meeting,” CoeFont introduced its initiatives directly to individuals with speech difficulties to promote understanding and utilization of the Life Support Plan.

Going forward, CoeFont will continue to expand the scope of its services in collaboration with medical institutions and other organizations to support individuals with speech difficulties through AI technology.
